Today, we were pleased to welcome representatives from 8 Ohio government offices and organizations to the Foodbank’s Stark County Campus in Canton for a firsthand look at how the Foodbank serves neighbors experiencing food insecurity. During the visit, attendees toured the facility, learning more about the Foodbank’s operations and the sustained need for food support.

The visit also offered an opportunity for thoughtful discussion between Foodbank leadership and government liaisons about evolving community needs and recent reductions in critical food and funding streams. As demand remains high, conversations focused on the challenges many households across Ohio are facing and the importance of collaboration to address them. The Foodbank is incredibly grateful for the opportunity to connect with local leaders who are passionate about continued partnership and building a stronger, more food-secure community.
