Last fall, the Foodbank embarked on an expansion and renovation project at its Main Campus in Akron. This project is the second phase of our capital campaign, the first being the construction of the Stark County Campus.
Over the past year, there have been several exciting additions to our Main Campus, including a new network partner welcome center and expanded freezer and cooler capacity.
Construction is expected to finish in early 2024. Please pardon our dust throughout the rest of the year as we renovate collaborative spaces and staff offices and construct a new community food pantry similar to the Keith D. Monda Family Food Pantry in our Stark County Campus. A few areas of the Foodbank are sectioned off for construction; please navigate the building accordingly.
