The Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank is proud to be recognized by ERC as one of Northeast Ohio’s best places to work. This is the first time the Foodbank has received the NorthCoast 99 award.
“Everything we do at the Foodbank centers around our commitment to efficiently and delivering the best possible services for those in need,” said Dan Flowers, President & CEO of the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank. “Having a highly talented, committed, and motivated workforce is a vital component of our strategy and our outcomes support that. We set very high standards for our collaborative work, we want great people to join and stay in the fight against hunger with us, and this award speaks volumes of that.”
“We’ve been very excited to see the stories from this year’s NorthCoast 99 winning organizations, and how they’ve created cultures for Top Performers to thrive. NorthCoast 99 has transformed from a workplace competition to a movement. We see it every day and are gratified that more and more local CEOs are shifting towards a great workplace strategy,” comments Pat Perry, ERC’s president.
This is the 16th year for the NorthCoast 99 award, which recognizes organizations for their ability to maintain great workplaces that support the attraction, retention, and motivation of Top Performers. The program was developed and is presented by ERC (www.yourERC.com). ERC is the area’s leading professional services organization dedicated to HR. Services provided by ERC include Compensation surveys, HR Help Desk, HR & Workplace compliance information, employee and management training, HR Consulting and health insurance for small and mid-size business.
“We are beyond proud to be included in this incredible group and hope it inspires other non-profits in Northeast Ohio to embrace progressive employment practices for the hard working people in our sector,” Flowers said.
