The Ohio Agricultural Clearance Program and the Ohio Food Program are operated with the Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services serving as the grant manager working alongside the Ohio Association of Foodbanks to procure and distribute the food to local foodbanks. These local foodbanks then distribute the food through more than 3,300 emergency feeding programs throughout the state.
OACP (Ohio Agricultural Clearance Program)
OACP directs surplus agricultural products from more than 100 Ohio farmers, growers, and producers to Ohio’s 12 Feeding America foodbanks. The fruits, vegetables, and produce purchased and distributed through OACP makes up some of the most nutritious food available through the emergency food network.
OFP (Ohio Food Program)
OFP makes nutritious, shelf-stable foods and protein items available to Ohio’s 12 Feeding America foodbanks. The center-of-the-plate food purchased and distributed through OFP makes up some of the most protein-rich food available through the emergency food network.
