To ensure that people facing hunger or food insecurity have consistent access to food, the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank sources, procures and processes grocery products from the food industry, local farmers, private donors and the state & federal government. These products are then distributed within a network of partner agencies that directly work with clients at the local level providing emergency and non-emergency feeding programs. There are currently almost 500 programs in our eight counties providing over 22 million meals each year to hunger families.
The Network Partners and Programs Department provides guidance to our network of partner agencies. Each partner agency is assigned to a team of staff to assist them. To contact your team, please visit our contact page.
