1 in 7 individuals in our area is food insecure. Here at the Foodbank, we are helping to improve the lives of those in our community facing hunger, but we can’t do it alone. Join us, and the fight to end hunger today!
We've created a simple two-step process that will help you register to volunteer, and find the volunteer opportunity that best fits your schedule.
Individuals can create an account to our Volunteer Information Center by completing the appropriate application below.
Once your account has been created, you may log in to our Volunteer Information Center to self-schedule your volunteer opportunity at the Foodbank. *Please note, youth volunteers aged 16 and under must be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian.
Please complete the group request form below, and a Volunteer Coordinator will contact you to confirm your group’s volunteer activity.

In order to ensure we can accommodate your group, we'll work with you to schedule your volunteer opportunity before you recruit volunteers to join you.

Please note that there will not be volunteer activity on the following dates:
- November 23-25
- November 30
- December 1
- December 15-16
- December 23
- December 25-January 1
There are a variety of volunteer opportunities at the Foodbank.
Volunteers have a hands-on experience sorting, inspecting, relabeling or repackaging donated food.
Volunteers assist with filing, computer data entry, mailings and other essential administrative duties.
Volunteers support the Foodbank’s special events team during events, activities, campaigns and food drives throughout the year.
Various projects take place during different times.
Our normal business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. A typical volunteer shift lasts 2-hours.
Nights & Weekends
Volunteer opportunities are available on Saturday mornings, 8:30 to 11:30 am (except holiday weekends) and on the first and third Wednesday of each month, 5:00 to 7:00 pm.
Volunteers are utilized for special events hosted by the Foodbank throughout the year, which usually occur on weekends and evenings.
SAFETY IS OUR PRIORITY.
Please note that open-toed shoes and jewelry are not permitted in our warehouse when handling food. Thank you for your cooperation!
