The Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank is currently recruiting one AmeriCorps VISTA, PantryTrak Training Coordinator to join in our fight to end poverty throughout our eight-county service territory. The AmeriCorps VISTA program is Volunteers in Service to America, which is a national service program where you commit to serve for a full year with our Foodbank. PantryTrak is a registration and reporting system designed to increase the capacity of Ohio food pantries to respond to client needs in a diversified, effective, client centric and dignified way. As a PantryTrak Training Coordinator you will contribute toward the development of state wide infrastructure through implementation at the local level within our eight-county service territory in North Eastern Ohio.
PantryTrak Training Coordinator job duties include:
- Participate in PantryTrak training program with PantryTrak developers to build technical expertise and proficiency in system operation
- Develop training materials in coordination with PantryTrak developer
- Coordinate and facilitate network-wide training sessions to member agencies
- Promote the use of PantryTrak with member agencies
- Share the knowledge, tools and ability to use PantryTrak’s data reporting system with member agencies
- Provide ongoing technical support to ensure effective use of the system
- Perform other duties, as assigned

Requirements:
- Minimum 18 years old
- College graduate (preferred)
- Aptitude for technology
- Passion for community service
- Able to learn and instruct others on the use of technology
- Comfortable with public speaking – teaching, training or tutoring experience strongly preferred
- Access to reliable transportation
- Proficient in preparing and executing effective communication strategies, both verbal and written, to a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders
- Able to research, analyze and troubleshoot problems - able to apply learning appropriately
