We don’t often think of a problem as a “good” thing, but in the food manufacturing industry a problem can often result in something great for the Foodbank and our partner agencies. Problems in the packing and labeling often result in a product that is perfectly safe and edible but impossible to sell to retailers. Whether the error is a misspelling, a missed word or even a completely wrong label, the Foodbank can accept these products. We then re-label them, repack them, insert additional instructions or supply corrected ingredient lists for distribution to our partner agencies and their clients.
This page contains links to the most recent packing and labeling corrections provided by the Foodbank to our partner agencies in case you need additional copies to distribute to clients.
