The pandemic has caused a 31 percent increase in food insecurity in our eight-county region and it could take months, if not years, for families to rebound. Hunger can cause families to make tough decisions, like choosing between buying groceries or paying for rent, utilities or medical expenses. Your Foodbank hopes to ease these difficult decisions by providing nourishing meals for our local community through the Harvest for Hunger Campaign.
The Harvest for Hunger Campaign is celebrating 30 years of serving Northeast Ohioans! The Campaign is a partnership between four food banks and focuses on fighting hunger across 21 counties. This is the Foodbank’s largest fundraising campaign and helps support food distribution all year long. Support from the community is vital to ensure families struggling with hunger have a place to turn during their time of need.
100 percent of every dollar raised in this Campaign goes directly to providing free food for individuals and families in need in our local community.

Financial Contributions to Harvest for Hunger
Thousands of individuals rely on the Foodbank and its network of hunger-relief partners for emergency food assistance each year. Because of the pandemic, 30 percent of families visiting your Foodbank and pantries within our network are visiting for the very first time. Many have to face tough decisions like whether to pay their heating bills or buy groceries for their family. They turn to the Foodbank and our network of hunger-relief partners in their time of need.
Financial contributions make the biggest impact. $1 = 4 meals!
