One in seven individuals in our community struggle with hunger. Food insecurity presents tough choices to those in need, including buying groceries or paying for utility bills, medical needs or transportation. The Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank hopes to ease these difficult decisions by providing more than 5.2 million meals for our local community in partnership with our network partners through the Harvest for Hunger Campaign.
The Harvest for Hunger Campaign is a partnership between four food banks and focuses on fighting hunger across 21 counties in Northeast Ohio. This collaboration represents one of the largest food and funds drives in the country and is the Foodbank’s largest fundraising campaign, helping support food distribution all year long. No matter how you choose to support Harvest for Hunger, please know that 100 percent of every dollar raised in the campaign goes directly to providing free food for those in need in our local community.

Donate to Harvest for Hunger
We need your support to feed people in need right here in our community. One in seven individuals in our community struggle with hunger. As many as 263,200 different individuals rely on the Foodbank for emergency food assistance each year. Many have to face tough decisions like whether to pay their heating bills or buy groceries. They turn to the Foodbank and its agencies in their time of need.
A tax-deductible gift is always welcome, which can be made online or via postal mail marked Harvest for Hunger. For every $1 donated, the Foodbank can provide four meals!
The demand for emergency food is high, and we need your help. Food donations are welcome, especially the Super Six most needed food items: boxed cereal, peanut butter, canned tuna, canned vegetables, canned beef stew and canned soup.
The help volunteers supply is real, tangible, and relied on by more than 263,200 different people who benefit annually from the food we provide.
