The Foodbank launched a new and improved website in early November. The new website was designed with the community in mind. It serves the person needing to find a food pantry for the first time after losing a job, it serves the volunteer looking for new opportunities, it serves our donors looking for ways to give back, and it serves our agency volunteers who are on the front lines in the fight to end hunger.

For our agencies, the layout and content in the Agency Zone have changed to ensure that content is easy to access. Agencies can access the the Agency Zone from any page of the website through a link at the very top of each page, which reads Agency Zone.

All pages within the Agency Zone have a blue Agency Zone banner at the top of each page, and the most-used links appear in orange circles near the top right of every Agency Zone page. These most-used links include:

  1. E-Ordering
  2. Food Menu
  3. Reports
  4. Training

The E-Ordering system and the Food Menu have not changed. However, the online monthly reporting process has improved! Now, when submitting a report through the website, you will receive an automatic confirmation of your submission via email as well as a PDF copy of your report. You no longer need to print the page to have a copy of the monthly report, which needs to be kept on file by the agency for 3 years.

In addition to the improved monthly report process, additional resources have been improved and added to the Agency Zone. New to the Agency Zone is the Resource Center. The Resource Center includes:

  • Resources for training new volunteers at the agency
  • Information about government programs and advocacy
  • Food Recalls
  • Ohio Benefit Bank Resources for clients, including free tax services and listing of other nearby food distributions

The News & Events page has improved, allowing agencies to register for all upcoming events online. In this section, agencies can also update their information in our automated messaging system, One Call Now, and view past issues of the Agency Insider.

We encourage you to browse the new Agency Zone section of the website to familiarize yourself with the revised layout. The new website is also mobile-responsive, so content may be viewed on a mobile device or tablet as well as your desktop computer. If you have questions or suggestions, you can use the Contact Us page of the Agency Zone to reach the Member Services department quickly and with ease.
