Calling all night owls! If you enjoy driving and working independently then this is your job! The Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank seeks an energetic and positive individual to serve as a mission ambassador on a dedicated third shift route. This casual part-time position interacts with an established local donor. A high degree of professionalism, customer service, commitment, availability, flexibility, and dependability is essential for success in this position. The food rescue driver will be responsible for ensuring timely pick-ups of temperature sensitive products on a dedicated route in Stark and Summit counties, maintain accurate paperwork, load and unload truck. Route will originate and end in Canton at our Stark county branch with start time at 10:30pm and finish at 4:30am.
Required Qualifications:
- Clean driving record with valid Ohio license, ability to pass driving test, background check and drug test
- Proven working experience as a pickup and delivery driver
- Excellent organizational, problem solving and time management skills
- Ability to operate company owned 12-14-foot refrigerated box truck in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
- Able to obtain SERV Safe and any other position related training provided by ACRFB
- Ability to work with little or no supervision on a 3rd shift between 10:30pm – 4:30am
