“No Muffin Left Behind” is Main Street Gourmet’s bakery outlet sale. At least twice a year since 2004, Main Street Gourmet has offered their “off-spec” frozen bakery products for sale to the general public for a discounted price while donating a portion of the proceeds to a local charity. Total charitable contributions to the local community have totaled more than $15,000 to date.

In 2008, the sale was moved from Main Street’s production facility to the larger confines of the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank and Main Street has made the Foodbank the ongoing charitable recipient. The next sale will be held Saturday, August 21, 2010 from 9am to noon at the Foodbank, 350 Opportunity Parkway, Akron OH 44307. Items for sale will include: muffins, cookie dough, brownies, and granola all at the low price of $1.25 per pound, $0.25 of which will be donated to the Foodbank.
