The Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank has achieved a 4-star rating from Charity Navigator, America's largest independent evaluator of charities. The rating was based on the ability of the Foodbank to efficiently manage and grow its finances. The rating indicates the Foodbank executes its mission in a fiscally responsible way, and outperforms most other charities in America. According to Charity Navigator, "This 'exceptional' designation…differentiates Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank from its peers and demonstrates to the public it is worthy of their trust." Only one quarter of the charities evaluated receive this highest rating.
